John Miller (Qualified and Licenced Builder)

My career in the building industry began with 4 years in Civil Construction as foreman in the UK & Ireland.

My experience in residential housing began in Christchurch with a small company specialising in architectural homes, from here my young family and I moved to Perth, Western Australia where we spent 7 years.

In Perth I began my own business building mostly new two-storey homes, renovations and alterations.

We returned to Otago to settle in late 2013 and hence the formation of Silverstream Construction.

Since being in Dunedin our projects have varied from new homes, renovations, alterations and medium sized commercial projects. 

We are Licensed Builders and a current member of NZCB (New Zealand Certified Builders Association). Currently our team at Silverstream Construction employess 6 fulltime employees plus my wife Bridget who works part time in our office in Mosgiel. We are an approachable, knowledgable and experienced team so don't hestitate to contact us with any building queries you may have!
